Electrical Engineer

As a Firmware/Electrical Engineer you will develop the electrical heart of our devices. If you are a strong team player with excellent communication and high technical skills, you might be the one that we seek.

You should be a self-driven individual who: has keen analytical skills and technical ability, works with systematic approach, is detailed-oriented, has excellent problem solving skills, has a positive attitude, is able to develop and work to a project timeline and above all, is a strong team player. Full commitment is required and must be able to work long hours. Applicants should preferably be Singapore citizens or hold relevant residence status.

Responsibilities

To design systems, conduct tests, monitor a product in use so as to pass the relevant electrical safety standards.
To obtain the relevant approvals from relevant certifying bodies for EMC/EMI testing and relevant electrical safety standards.
Design manufacturing tests and test fixtures for software and electrical parts, control boxes, and Printed Circuit Board Assemblies.
Design and develop test jigs required for quality control and management.
To write, analyze and debug software as required.
Provide technical specification review and resolution in the electrical and electronics aspects of projects assigned.

Requirements

Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Knowledgeable in Schematic and PCB Development Platform (Mentor Graphics, Cadence, Protell).
Familiar in Software Integrated Development Environments (Eclipse, Visual Studio, LabVIEW, MatLAB).
Knowledgeable in C/C++/MatLAB Programming Languages.
Basic understanding of DFM, DFT requirements and trade-offs.
Basic understanding of Digital Signal Processing, Control Systems Optimization, EMC/EMI & Safety.
