SG-SAFE: The Biofactory helps to keep our frontline workers safe during fight against COVID-19

One of the key problems identified during the fight against COVID-19 has been the high risk during COVID-19 Swab Testing and the resultingly high consumption of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE). To combat this, The Biofactory has teamed up with SGH Department of Anaesthesia to develop SG-SAFE (Swab Assurance For Everyone).
The SG-SAFE booth provides a strong and safe shield between healthcare workers and patients during COVID-19 swab testing to prevent the risk of transmission while reducing the consumption of PPE and improving swabbing efficiency.
Designed by healthcare workers for healthcare workers, The Biofactory as Singapore’s leading biomedical incubator has never been more proud to support this effort.
